leather phone covers

today after little shopping (but not for me..) with my friend i started sewing :) my dad wanted a leather cover for his phone.. so i sewed it :) from some pieces my mom found somewhere in the closet.. i sewed two, because.. the first one is too small!! all the time i have no idea how i made it too small!! ;o now i have a break and i'm wondering what could i sew next.. hmm maybe another bag from lotta's book? it's the last bag tutorial in this book.. but i don't think i'll manage to sew it today, and i don't want to have anything to finish tomorrow, cuz after i'll be back from my boy i have to learn for my english oral exam :) and after 20th May.. THE LONGEST SUMMER HOLIDAYS IN MY SCHOOL YEARS!! ;O 4 MONTHS!! ;O

oh and i'm so sorry for people who live on the country side etc. and have problems with the rain.. floods.. here fortunately are just a lot of puddles..

continuation of the last post. omg i am soooo tired. i'm sewing about 13/14h with short breaks. and heres what i made after that simple tote bag.. (photos are awful cuz i was too tired after finishing it to make some nice photos;p next time;p)

i'm suprised that i i sewed it that good. like you know, i'm just starting to sew! and it's my first bag with a lining! all day tote - all day sewing ;o

the exterior is from black linen, the lining is from fine cotton.. i love the pattern! everything is good.. except one thing.. this bag, because of the fine fabricks.. is too flabby. most of my bags are flabby, but they're shape is different - vertical, and this one is level (?). when you hold it in your hands everything is ok, but when you put it on a table or something it falls and you can se almost everything inside;p

on the last photo you can see a stiffen plastik board. i sewed a cover for it, cuz it goes to the interior of the tote, and it isnt so flabby!! my mom gave me the idea to find something to stiffen the bottom of the bag.. and here it is! ;d

the bag's interior is a little bit different than in Lotta's book, i made two pockets, and one is with a flap on a velcro. maybe i'll take it today with me, but i'm not shure cuz it's raining all the time!!

hmm? a photo of me. i did it today. the reason why i took it is probably the fact that tomorrow i have an oral exam of polish and i even don't have a composition for it written. but as always, i'll problaby finish it today about 10p.m and i will panic tomorrow that i won't pass. i know it, and i'm still doing everything except it!! agrr! hate myself for doing every important school things in the last moment!!
and i have a stomach ache.. :(

anyway, please wish me luck and keep your fingers crossed tomorrow, it always helps :)

a walk

yesterday we went for a walk.. to Rabsztyn. we didn't go inside the ruins of the castle, cuz there was really nothin to see. we were walking around the castle, walking in a beautiful.. thick.. forest :) and doing photos. after that, we went to A.'s flat and what..? We were playing a game named Killzone on Playstation2, omg you can't believie it but it was my first time on a consol like this. and omg omg omg omg i'm sooo in love!! i love playing in shutter computer games, but omg it's so much fun when you play with someone on a multiplayer splitscreen.. and especially fun with my A. ;* (except the fact he was winning all the time!! ha!!;p). Well now you can suspect.. that Playstation3 is my new dream!! ahh;d maybe some of you have one at home, and doesn't want it;p haha, yeah.. SURE!!

oh and P.S. -> can't wait the moment when i'll finish my final exams!! i'll be learning how to sew, sleep a lot and doing everything i love to do and i can't do it now - because if i'll try.. i'll probably won't stop!! what were you doing this weekend?? hope you had a great time!! :):)

oh and i wish Ann health! cuz she isn't in a very good shape lately. well Ann.. it's just our luck;p

sewing day

another day of learning how to sew, i'm happy cuz i'm gettin better and better! slowly.. but better! ;d here is another coaster.. it's a simple thing but i think it's cute.. ;p (material found about a year ago in a second hand :) - it was a pillowcase before)

and here.. my first Simple Tote!!!! i'm soooo glad! you can't imagine! it looks simple, but it isn't that simple in reality.. well for me, an amateur in sewing.. it's a good job! and again: i'm soooooooo glaaaad of myself!!!!! ;d it doesn't look very pretty, but it's the material's fault.. i have only fabrics from old pillowcases or sheets.. but anyway.. she is sooo beautiful!! i love this cind of bags. big and simple. ahh.. so happy. i hav to go somewhere to celebrate this day. i realized one of my dreams!! ahh ;d

now like i said, i'm going out.. so bye bye and have a superextra happy evening!

obsession

i'm obssesed with learning how to sew on my sewing machine! thanks to Simple Sewing book I did a simple coaster :):) i don't have any pretty fabrics, so i'm learning on linen (here) which i have left :)

and here a new case for tissues.. i named it.. a rock'n'roll red lipped miss ann's case.. haha ;d i wanted to give it to ann but it is soooo croocked!! haha;d thi black material is from my old tote bag.. which i destroyed today.. recycling old things is a good thing;d haha

Lotta Jansdotter's Simple Sewing book!! i dreamed about it for a while.. and now i have it!! (and omg couting money from euro to polish zloty is unreal!! people this book is dirt-cheap abroad, and here i paid a fortune for it!! it's just insane!! it isn't published in Poland, so it's in English, difficult but good for me, cuz i have in may a super hard exam of english, so translating it will help me a lot i think)

thanks to Moje Zielone Wzgórze's tutorial and my sewing machine I made 2 cases for tissues!

the first one is quite tight so it will be in my tote. and the second one is bigger, so it will stay on my desk :):) still learning how to use my sewing machine.. but i love it!!

weekend

now this weekend wasn't a very happy time.. but there was some good things like spending good time with my family from Poznań, my parents and my boyfriend.. :) and i got a pretty package with the candy i won here. i was slowly learning how to sew also, thanks to freckled nest tutorial and the candy i won (materials!!) i did a super small pin cushion - just for excersize (nothing artistic o.O). and thanks to a book about sewing I bought last weekend, sewing on my sewing machine is easier o.O

good news and bad news

lets start with bad news.. whilst i was soldering (lutować) my stained glass work today my dad phoned. he told me bad news. my grandfather died.. you know, he was ill, week etc.., and i knew that this day will come.. but it still was an enormous shock. but thanks to ania and kamila this shock passed away quite quick, and i was able to get back to work. funeral on Saturday.. ehh.. :(

now better news.. i'm finishing my stained glass work.. and i love it so much! i really really didn't think that they will be so beautiful!

and in the end of this sad post i want to thank ann for 'helping' me with writing the inspiration.. i couldn't write it good. i was scared that i won't do it before Monday.. thank you once again!

Now this situation confirms that 'a friend in need is a friend indeed'.

On Monday we have to give over our diploma works.. that is all projects, a written work about our stained glass diploma work, board with our diploma work and our annexe works (the kaligraphy room in my case). I hope everything will be ok.

EVERYTHING WILL BE OK!

birthday card

simple birthday card. i tried to do something for a man.. but i have only bright colorful papers! anyway, it doesn't matter. what does matter is that he liked his present very very much! once again.. i wish that his dreams will come true!

1 week of school left. 1 week of seeing some of the most unpleasant and and not very wise teachers. 1 week of seeing some of the faces from my class i don't want to see. 1 week of hard work doing my stained glass work. 1 week.. and maybe a super nice weekend with my A. ;*

and after that.. super stresfull oral exam from history of art (i'm so fucked with this one. i do not know anything..), defence of my diploma work, lots and lots of extra lessons from english, polish and mathematics.. and finally high school finals..

and after all this stress.. i'm gonna relax.. and sew, scrapbook, read books, go on holidays.. and omg i'm gonna drink if i'll pass everything! i'm gonna dring and fly above this city under the influence of alcohol!!

well here they are.. self-portraits from yeasterday.. i told you that they aren't that good.. some of them aren't sharp, but i think that it gives some weird.. interesting effect..

i hope you like at least one or two of them.. (from all yesterday's 181 photos, there are about 18 quite good ones..). it's hard to do photos without needed equipment.. isn't it?

self-portrait

semestral work from photography.. i'm disappointed a bit. it's not in 100% what I wanted! but you have to believe, that self-portraits with simple desk light are really difficult to do! I hope that my teacher will pick at least one! please!you won't probably see it, but it's a bit inspired by the new 3D film - Alice in Wonderland (by the way - i really liked it :))

i was doing nothing for school all weekend!! but i spent this 2 days with my A. and it was really nice.. I missed him ;*

and now, back to reality - i forgot about tomorrow's 2 tests! but.. my sleep is more important.. so.. goodnight!
