You never know when inspiration comes.

Hi there! I got back to work at the beginning of September and I have to tell you that.. it's was really difficult to organise myself. I was so tired after a couple of hours of work that I didn't want to sew anything.. just stay in bed. But after two weeks now everything go back to normal. I even found some time for sewing one evening!
Dzień dobry! Na początku września wróciłam do pracy i muszę wam powiedzieć, że.. totalnie nie mogłam się w bić w rytm i się zorganizować. Byłam tak zmęczona po pracy, że nie miałam na nic ochoty. Na szczęście po dwóch tygodniach się ogarnęłam. I nawet jeden wieczór poświeciłam na szycie!

First of all - I made a vanity bag from my feather fabric. A lot of you asked about a makeup bag similar to the one I gave Scraperka some time ago. So.. I decided to make one more :)
Na początek - kosmetyczka w piórka. Sporo osób pytało o kosmetyczkę, którą zrobiłam dla Scraperki. No to proszę, już jedna jest :)

Only the front is pleated - as you can see it's quite simple.

How do you like it? The dimensions are: 25x17cm.
Tylko przód jest plisowany - jak widać kosmetyczka jest dość prosta.
Jak wam się podoba? Wymiary: 25x17cm.

Another thing I made - a super flowery A5 planner!
Kolejna rzecz - kwiecisty planner A5!

I love this fabric, you can buy it at House of Cotton. Separating cards are made from various kinds of scrapbooking paper.
Uwielbiam tą tkaninę - możecie ją kupić w sklepie House of Cotton. Przekładki są z różnych papierów scrapbookingowych.

A couple of months ago I bought some minky fabric. I had no idea what to make from them. But when the weather got worse I thought "WINTER IS COMING!" and started sewing super soft pillows for my sofa. Now I just need to finish my thick crochet blanket and I will be ready for winter evenings!
Kilka miesięcy temu kupiłam minky. Totalnie nie wiedziałam co mam z tego zrobić. Ale jak tylko poczułam, że ZIMA SIĘ ZBLIŻA to od razu zaczęłam szyć mięciutkie poduszki na moją kanapę. Teraz tylko skończyć mój grubaśny, szyedłkowy kocyk i będę gotowa na zimowe wieczory!

Have you ever used minky? It's a very soft and delicate fabric but it's also not that easy to sew it. I thought it will be waaaay easier!
Szyliście kiedyś coś z minky? To bardzo milutka i delikatna tkanina ale nie szyje się jej zbyt łatwo. Myślałam, że będzie to duuużo prostsze!

And the last thing for today - a bobbin basket. I asked for your opinion on facebook which bobbin such I choose for this little project - most of you advised me to use the grey one. And so I did. It looks nice, and I still have a bit of it left!
I ostatnia rzecz na dzisiaj - bobbinowy kosz. Na facebooku poprosiłam was o opinię, którego bobbina mam wybrać na ten mały projekt. Większość z was doradziła szary. No i jest! Wygląda całkiem fajnie, prawda? I jeszcze troszkę mi go zostało!

I didn't crochet for over 2 months. But as winter is coming the inspiration is back!
Nie szydełkowałam ponad dwa miesiące. Ale zbliżająca się zima jakoś mnie zmotywowała!

Winter is this time of year when I want to crochet every evening - do you have the same? Or am I just weird?
Podczas zimy mam ochotę szydełkować właściwie codziennie - też tak macie? Czy jestem po prostu dziwna?

Small Travel Yarn Bag

Today I would like to show you a vanity bag which I sewed for Art-Piaskownica's colour challenge!

Dzisiaj chciałabym wam pokazać kosmetyczkę, którą uszyłam na kolorowe wyzwanie Art-Piaskownicy!

It is quite big and I don't really need such a big vanity bag for my cosmetics so for a month I used it as a Small Travel Yarn Bag. I took it with me on all my short and long trips.

Jest całkiem spora i naprawdę nie wiedziałam do czego jej używać bo sama nie potrzebuję aż tak wielkiej na moje kosmetyki. W końcu jakiś miesiąc temu zaczęłam ją używać jako małą podróżną kosmetyczkę na włóczki i brałam ją w każdą moją małą czy dużą wycieczkę.

And what did I keep in it? Two yarns, a crochet hook and small scissors. You never know when will you have time for crocheting, right?! Sometimes you  feel like ctocheting in the least expected moment!

No i wiadomo co w niej trzymałam - dwie włóczki, szydełko i małe nożyczki. Nigdy nie wiadomo kiedy przyjdzie ochota na szydełkowanie, prawda?

I sewed it from some of my favourite fabrics - the pastel blue and mustard yellow timber fabrics. I ordered them from the USA about a year or two ago and then I just forgot about them!

Uszyłam ją z kilku ulubionych tkanin - pastelowo niebieskiej i musztardowej z wzorem słojów. Zamówiłam je z USA jakiś rok albo dwa temu i po prostu o nich zapomniałam!

The button is from Antilight :) and the funniest thing is that I gave her this vanity bag last weekend! I really hope she likes it as much as I did :)

A guziczek jest od Antilight :) no i najśmieszniejsze jest to, że dostała tą kosmetyczkę w prezencie w zeszły weekend! Mam nadzieję, że lubi ją tak samo jak ja :)

How do you like it? And the most important question: what do you think about the fabrics which I used to sew it? It's hard to get nice fabrics in Poland (well, now it's much easier but some years ago it was almost impossible!!). Sometimes it's worth paying a bit more to buy fabrics from your dreams..!

Jak wam się podoba? No i najważniejsze pytanie: co sądzicie o tych tkaninach? Ciężko dostać ładne tkaniny w Polsce (no teraz już dużo łatwiej ale kilka lat temu to było prawie niemożliwe!!). Ale i tak czasem warto dopłacić troszkę, żeby kupić tkaniny swoich marzeń..!

Mother's Day Tutorial and an Owl Set

Hi! Wednesday was my special sewing day this week! I made an Owl Set and a tutorial for mother's day. Let's start with this super colorful set. It consists of two vanity bags, small wallet and tissue holder. Everything made using the same fabrics :) 

Hej! Środa była specjalnym dniem na szycie! Zrobiłam Sówkowy Zestaw i tutorial na dzień matki. Zacznijmy od tego super kolorowego zestawu. Składa się z dwóch kosmetyczek, małego portfela i chustecznika. We wszyskich tych rzeczach użyłam tych samych tkanin :)

 Everything is super colorful! I love this happy combination :) As you can see the wallet is very small. Half the size of the wallets I usually sew. It has three card pockets, two simple pockets and one with a zipper.

Wszystko jest bardzo kolorowe! Uwielbiam to radosne połączenie :) Jak widać portfel jest mału. Połowa wielkości portfeli, które zazwyczaj szyję. Ma trzy kieszonki na karty, dwie zwykłe kieszonki i jedną z suwakiem.

 Second thing I wanted to show you is.. a simple notebook/photo album/journal! It's A5, has 24 pages and the it can be used in various ways. I decided to make a Mother's Day Gift from it.

Kolejna rzecz, którą chciałam wam pokazać to.. zwykły notes/album/journal! Jest formatu A5, ma 24 strony i można go użyć na wiele sposobów. Ja zdecydowałam, że będzie to prezent na Dzień Matki.

 We can develope photos and glue them on every page with some colorful tapes and descriptions. It can be a handy album with memories, special gift for every Mom :)

Można wywołać zdjęcia i przykleić je na każdej stronie ze specjalnymi opisami. Wyjątkowy prezent dla każdej mamy - wspomnienia w jednym małym albumie :)

Blog Swap!

Some time ago I met Mali in the blog world, and we decided to make a little swap! I was in love with her crochet stuff and she like some of my sewing creations.

Uwaga! To będzie dość długi post!

Jakiś czas temu poznałam Mali w blogowym świecie.. no i postanowiłyśmy zrobić sobie małą wymiankę! Ja oczywiście zakochałam się w jej szydełkowych tworach, a jej spodobały się moje szyciowe pierdoły.

First I would like to show you what I have created for her - a wallet (I forgot to make photos of it!!!!!!!) with a typewriter pattern, and a small vanity bag also with the vintage pattern.

Na początku pokażę wam co ja przygotowałam dla niej - musztardowy portfel (któregmu oczywiście zapomniałam zrobić zdjęcia!!!!!) z maszynami do pisania i małą kosmetyczkę też z tym vintażowym wzorkiem.

 It has a flowery interior and is closed by two snap fasteners. I think I'll make more similar vanity bags like this, i like matching this typewriter application with completely different patterns :D

Kosmetyczka jest zamykana na dwie napy, wnętrze jest kwiatkowe. Mam ochotę zrobić więcej podobnych kosmetyczek, uwielbiam łączyć tą maszynową aplikację z całkiem innymi wzorkami :D

And now it's time to show you what a wonderful package I received from Mali! ♥

A teraz czas pochwalić się tym co dostałam od kochanej Mali! ♥

 Everything was beautifully packed - first nice surprice!

Pierwsza niespodzianka - wszystko było tak pięknie zapakowane!

 And tadaaam! As you can see one the photos below, I received an amazing crochet pillowcase (I was dreaming about a pillow cover like this for a looong time!), a coaster, a pretty notebook and last but not least.. a warm decoration for one of my mugs! Now I have two - perfect! :D

A po rozpakowaniu? Tadaaam! Dostałam przepiękną szydełkową poszewkę na poduszkę (marzyłam o takiej od dość dawna!), podkładkę pod kubeczek, śliczny mały notesik i.. cieplutkie ubranko na kubeczek! Mam teraz dwa! Idealnie :D

 How do you like them? I have to admit I'm in love! Everything is made of mustard&grey wool, and it made my room even more cozy!

I jak wam się podobają rzeczy? Ja szczerze przyznam, że jestem zakochana! Wszystko jest zrobione z szarej i musztardowej włóczki i dzięki temu mój pokój jest jeszcze przytulniejszy!

The first topic is TEA. I love tea, I prefer it way more than coffee so it wasn't very hard for me to make a photo of it. But why the other stuff on this photo? Well for me, tea also equals some reading or planning the day!

Temat pierwszego wyzwania to HERBATA. Uwielbiam herbatki - wszystkie! Dużo bardziej wolę ją od kawy więc nie było dla mnie większym problemem obfocenie jej. A czemu reszta pierdół na tym zdjęciu? Dla mnie herbata równa się czytanie książki lub planowanie całego dnia!

Brown & Turquoise Set

It's almost Christmas.. and I still don't have even one Christmas Tree in my house because we don't have time.. but I hope that I'll decorate my little tree tomorrow with my A.! :)

Już prawie święta a ja ciągle nie mam w domu ani jednej choinki bo nikt nie ma czasu.. no ale mam nadzieję, że jutro uda mi się z moim A. przystroić moje sztuczne drzewko! :)

As you may know, I have some wonderful friends in the blog world.. and we give each other gifts from time to time! Today I would like to show you something I sewed for Antilight ♥ !

Jak już pewnie wiecie, mam naprawdę cudowne znajome w blogowym świecie.. co jakiś czas obdarowujemy się prezentami! Dzisiaj chciałabym wam pokazać co uszyłam dla Antilight ♥ !

I made a vanity bag, but it can also be a special place for other stuff! Kasia revealed that she will use it for markers which she uses at her art school! :)

Zrobiłam kosmetyczkę, ale może służyć nie tylko do przechowywania kosmetyków! Kasia zdradziła mi, że będzie trzymać w niej markery, które używa na ASP! :)

 Thanks to it's shape it can be also used as a clutch! It's the first time I sewed a zipper like that! Unfortunately the zipper itself is a bit rough and it's difficult to open it.. but I believe it will work nicely after some use..!

Kształt ma taki fajny, że można z niej zrobić też kopertówkę! Pierwszy raz wszywałam suwak w ten sposób! Niestety sam suwak dość opornie się otwiera.. ale mam nadzieję, że się wyrobi..!

 The black pattern I drew with Sharpie Fabric Marker.. I love them really much, but they run out of ink so fast..!

Czarny wzorek rysowałam markerem Sharpie do tkanin.. Uwielbiam te pisaczki, szkoda tylko że tak szybko się kończą!

As you read in the title of this post, I gave Anti a "set". But it's not really a set, because one would look really silly walking around with a vanity bag.. and a PILLOW CASE?! :D

W tytule posta napisałam, że dałam Anti "komplet". Ale tak naprawdę człowiek wyglądałby dziwnie jednocześnie nosząc te dwie rzeczy razem.. kosmetyczka i PODUSZKA?! :D

 I just used similar colours to make these two things :D

Chodziło mi tylko o to, że są w podobnej kolorystyce :D

I wasn't lazy!

OMG! I can't believe that it has been two weeks from my last post! Unbeliveable. I hate long breaks here! But I have an excuse! I wasn't lazy at all for the last 14 days. I had a lot of work at school but also, as soon as I started my Christmas holidays I started creating! :) 

I made another notebook with a notebook cover ;d

 And with a funny interior, I love this Elvis pattern fabric! Thank you Lejdi :*

And I am constantly playing with my new fabric markers, I made several things using painted fabrics but I can't show you them now unfortunately. But I can show you this little experimental tissue holder. It has the easiest pattern in the whole wide world but I like it. This severe look is quite nice.

 I need to make some tissue holders like this one for myself but with eg. some simple sketches.

Another thing I have been making - vanity bags. Two vanity bags with a typewriter application on the font. I still have no idea what to do with the bright one!

 They have identic size. And have flowery interior, but each interior is different.

 Oh and I have also been working on something you can see on the sneak peek below!

Can't wait to show you some things I was making today too, unfortunately I haven't finished them so you'll have to wait! I also hope you didn't mind this long break.. it's really rare for me to make such long brakes on my blog! For today, no more sewing because I'm going to the cinema to see Hobbit. I'm sure it it a perfect movie!

A little bit of this.. and a little bit of that :)

Uhh.. still no time for sewing, mostly because I stay at my friend's house all the time

(she lives next to my University and we really have better grades when we learn together!)

so again I have to show you some things I made a couple of weeks ago :)

 Some time ago we (me & Antilight) decided to make another little swap!

 I sewed for her a mini vanity bag and two tissue holders :) I send it few days ago with a christmas card (one of the cards you had seen in the previous post).

But it's not that I don't do anything creative at all! Two days ago I received a wonderful gift from my friend Bee.. she gave me a set of Sharpie Fabric Markers! Ohh you can't imagine how happy I am! I have been planning to buy them for a long time!

I had to try them out so I drew some feathers on my friend's pijama (she liked it so much that she washed it immediately and wore it the next day - not as a pijama anymore!)

Yesterday when I came back home I found an old simple blouse, of course

I decided to play with my new markers..

 And feathers again! It's not a piece of art, but It's always fun to wear

something you (almost) did by yourself, right? :)

 I thought that the colour will loose some saturation after washing, but it really didn't!

 Now I think that maybe these markers weren't such a good idea.. I'll draw something on every single fabric I have! Uhh.. but It's really fun - that's most important! :)

Weekender Vanity Bag

Today I would like to show you my new Weekender Traveller Vanity Bag. Why weekender? Well when I was visiting my friends only for the weekend I always took a huge vanity bag - because I didn't have a smaller one of course. Now I sewed a bag with a perfect weekender size - only for a shampoo, face gel, body gel, eyeliner and my 'lovely' braces. Nothing more is needed, right?

As you can see it's quite flat and has a cotton tape so I can hang it somewhere in the bathroom.

 I used one of my last wooden buttons - I love them so so much and need to find more! MORE!

Here you can see my weekender survival kit, hehe :) It also has a small pocket inside for the small things like cotton buds, cotton balls and other small similar things.

 It's not 100% as I wanted it to came out.. but what can I say.. Not every day is good for sewing!

I hope you like it a bit more than I do and that your days are full of creative ideas and lots and lots of creative work!

Foxy Set!

Some time ago I sewed a foxy wallet for myself.. One of my lovely readers saw it and wanted a similar one with a matching vanity bag/purse.. and here they are!

This wallet is made way more precisely and looks a lot better than the one I have.. It's weird but I always keep my ugly creations for myself.. (well maybe not ugly but they look like they were unfinished!).. I just don't mind if there are some threads on the right side or something like that.. but when you are making something for a client.. well.. then you want to give him/her the best what you can make! :)

This wallet has a red interior and the pocket is made of a lovely foxy fabric :)

Besides that it looks like all my previous wallets :) simple but nice looking :)

My client also wanted a matching purse.. And I have to admit I love how it looks!

I have to make a similar one for myself somewhere in the future!

I wish I had more of this colorful little tape.. looks nice with every fabrics! :)

And as you can see the back is very simple :)

Few days ago I also sewed a nice pillow! I was inspired by CluckCluckSew! You can find a nice tutorial on her blog.. I didn't really use it, but some of you maybe don't know how to start or something like that.. Btw it is a great blog! Lot's of inspirations and nice projects! :)

I sewed a simple little quilt too.. but I'm waiting for some good daylight to make photos. You can't believe how dark my room is when the weather is like this!
